How we Work

The cart is not like a normal cart. You cannot make online purcahses. But, you can use it to be prepared for what your purchases will cost. Obviously, eggs, meat and produce are a select availability but our personal care products and bakery goods are made to order. This type of "cart" allows us to try and meet all our clients needs. Please remeber to email us to place your orders.

Why Buy Locally?

There are many reasons to buy local. One, you are supporting your neighbors instead of big companies. Two, you know what you are getting. You can see our farm, see our plants and products and know that you are getting an honest and healthy product.

Environmentally Sustainable

No farms, No food. With out sustainable living practices our farm land, animals, and habitat will diminish. It is sad that in the last two generations that we have to worry about what we are eating and how it is grown and proscessed. Chemicals used to boost chicken growth ends up in our digestive tract and in our blood stream. How do you feel about that? Why not eat local eggs from pasture raised chickens from down the street, who have been fed Non-GMO food?

What makes it Non-GMO                  and Organic?

In no way do we use any kind of syntheric pestisides, weed killers, or soil conditoners. We pride ourselves on producing only the most natural of products. The fields that we till and plant meet all organc standards, even though we haven't paid out thousands of dollars to be licensed and stamped by the government. We use old deep litter methods of compost, our flock of chickens eat food from our land and produce fertilizer to commit back to the land.

GMO stands for "Genetically Modified Organisms" this is a process in which scientists have added genes to plants to make them more insect, drought, and weed resistant. The problem with this is that you are now not eating a natural product. As well, it is highly experimental and there has not been enough research done to see the health side effects. There is a lot more to it so please refer to the links below. As we do more reasearch and come across more refence material we will be happy to share them with you.
